SAXON SHORE
a band i haven't really jammed since high school. They conveniently appeared on the scene at the same time as explosions in the sky, etc (at least for me) and kind of rode that instu-wave... Their new track is dope ("this place"), sounds like they sort of hopped on the shoegaze train with the rest of us, and im totally into that.
Us kids on MONSTER ISLAND have been chatting about being 'conscientious'. That means business people. (new hit single in the works, keep an eye out)
Im leaving for NYC on friday to hang out with great friends and watch bombs bursting in air and all that jazzzzz. I'm not sure what i'll be doing there exactly, what i'm going to do when i get back, nor whether i'll come back to tucson more or less sane than i left. Adam thinks i'll be coming back with a fat brooklyn stick up my ass. we'll see.
